I am cleaning up the oil tubes on a C-19. I’ve taken the small felt pieces out of the ends of the tubes. They need to be replaced. Am curious what others have used as a replacement. The old felts fell apart...so reusing is not an option...nor should it be as they are very dirty and hard.
Thanks for any feedback.

I have used ordinary felt, rolled up to fit the tubes.

Thanks for the reply, I'll proceed doing same. No felt wick available in that small a diameter (that I could find). I would think these are commonly replaced during any restoration and/or motor overhaul. These felt wicks get very hard, and likely lose a significant amount of wicking ability. Regardless, they certainly will function better with new felt.
