Hi Mike and welcome to the Board!! If there is any remnant of the original cloth attached to the back of the grill you can find a close match at a Michael's or a Jo-Anne Fabric store or any other good fabric store in your area.

Hi Bill: Thanks for the response It's that easy? What if I don't have even a shred of original fabric to go by? Is there a correct color/pattern?

Mike,
I'm guessing here as I don't own one, but I do have a BC-34 and would assume that the cloth would be the same (a dark gold, almost brown) as both machines had the same wood finishes. To my knowledge, there was no pattern but the material was of a silk-like composition.

USUALLY, Edison DD machines have a silk grille cloth in either tan or olive green. There were some exceptions, but not many.
I do exactly as Bill suggested, and get my cloth from JoAnne Fabrics - olive green or tan silk works nicely.
