Well, good luck! It would be great to get it up & running again in goodness knows how long. You must be bursting at the seams, waiting to hear than new cygnet horn.

Glad to hear you got the mandrel and Shaft. Reminds me of that popular country western song, She Got the Goldmine and I got the Shaft. www.youtube.com/watch?v=04RJyFCg7ks Not that I have any personal experience with this song. Fun!

Bill, Not sure by your response if you got the reference there, but that is probably the most recognizable/quotable line from the theme to the 1970's movie 'Shaft' by the late Isaac Hayes. I posted it in reference to the similarly shaft-related country music song in the preceding post. I was trying to make a joke there not "shut your mouth" (as the song says). Glad you found the parts you were looking for. I was just curious where you found them because when one takes the time and the trouble (aka, interest) and replies in reference to another's question and then hears nothing back, it feels a bit like hollering down a shaft! Bill, There is a gentleman -- and I do mean a gentleman -- in Florida who will rebuild and restore the reproducer for you for only the cost of parts and shipping -- no labor charges! Unless your reproducer needs a new stylus, the parts usually ring in at well under $20, probably well under $5 if the diaphragm and hingeblock are OK. PM me if you want his contact info. John
