Im searching for an Amberola V preferably in oak. Also I reciently found this web page :http://www.intellitechcomputing.com/pipermail/phono-l/2008-January/008012.html It talks about the fly wheel but it also mentions a "flutter filter"?. Im thinking this refers to something like the springs on the left end of the mandrel on 30s and 50s etc. Ive only worked on one V and I couldnt find anything like that. Where between the main spring and the mandrel is it located? Anyone know if the V went through changes? A fly wheel AND flutter filter sounds GREAT.

If you are the same person that posted on the OTVMMB, I posted what the flywheel/harmonic balancer w/spring looks like on my Amberola V. The arrows indicate the spring. Bill
