Just found this site today. Great! Recently got an SI-19. Found a site that told what the light-colored wood in the inlay is, but can't find it again -- & I've forgotten. Anyone know? People keep asking.....

No responses so far . . . I would really like to post a picture of this baby -- have a nice one with it sitting near a nice Columbia "DeLuxe" (with the lions), but I can't figure it out. Granted, I'm not computer literate; but I had no results by clicking on "add image". Any help?

Hi Davis, To post pictures you'll have to join one of the free online hosting sites, such as photobucket or imageshack, though there are many others. I would suggest you visit each site & have a look at how each site is set up, and pick one (or more) that best suit your own personal needs & understanding. As with any hosting site,, you will end up with an URL link, which you simply copy, and then paste in the post you make on this board. Usually you are given a choice of links. One will be a link that takes you directly to the host site where the image or album can be viewed. Other links may include a thumbnail link, which will post a small thumbnail image directly on the board, or you can also post a full size image. All of these sites have their own options, and ways of doing things, and can take a bit of getting used to. As they say, practice makes perfect, so feel free to experiment, and don't worry if something doesn't work the way you hoped the first couple times around. You can always "Modify" your post to fix a link, or if worse comes to worst, you can always delete the post & start over again. Here's a few links you might want to check out. www.imageshack.us/www.box.net/photobucket.com/I can't help you with identifying the wood unfortunately, but the SI-19 is certainly a handsome machine. Much nicer that the S-19 for sure!
