I'm getting help -- that's not that helpful. However, you're theoretically going to be able to see a picture of the Edison. Hope this works. home.comcast.net/~jdavishart/1.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~jdavishart/1.jpg

Davis, You can display images inline like this: (Or just highlight the image address and click the button.) It would look like this: Let me know if you have any questions. — MordEth

Davis,
Love the Columbia Grafonola DeLuxe. Does this have the Regina disc accessory? First time I've ever seen the Sheraton sans inlay other than a book. I wonder if the inlay could be spruce, as this was a light wood and was used by Brunswick for their horns.

The Columbia is my best restoration. It was in a barn (on a dirt floor) from 1920-2002. 2 guys who were tearing down the barn for "barn-wood" brought it in to a junk store. It was full of rats' nests, urine, etc., etc. Nasty! Top section was loose, half the pieces of the horn went up -- half down. Lots of loose veneer. The only thing wrong with the mechanism was a broken fibre washer between the spindle & governor. Amazing. Base was entirely rotted away. Legs are new & not correct. This thing is LOUD & clear. No Regina mechanism -- that's in another room! (I know it went into the barn in 1920 because the guys tearing it down asked.) Thanks for your interest!

Forgot to say: I didn't add any stain to the cabinet. Just washed it down with de-natured alcohol & went over it with Tung-Oil Varnish.
