Hi
I recently picked up an Edison dance reproducer, unfortunately the previous owner had tried fixing it.
They removed the stylus and weight, looks like they didn't know that there was a spring on the back of the diaphragm, so they pulled on the connecting cord and broke it.
What I need to know, where can I get a new connecting cord from diaphragm to stylus? and how do i release the spring from the back of the diaphragm? so I can replace the gaskets.
I remember years ago Dan use to restore original diaphragms, is there anyone doing that these days? mine is a little warped.
Thank you in advance
Cheers Marcel

Hi I have a new toy to play with, this is the first time I have had one of these, so I thought I would share the joy it works pretty well, although I think it could do with new rubbers. Regards Marcel

Hi Does anyone have a mahogany Triumph motor board, I mainly neeed the back section so it can be damaged. I know it is like looking for a needle in a hay stack, but, you never know.

Hi This is a picture of my Dictaphone set. The bosses machine is on the left, shaver in the middle and the secretary's machine on the right. I am working on the shaver a the moment, this accounts for the absence of the on/off switch. Regards Marcel

Hi all Don't worry, there is no way I could take a drill to this machine. It has had a morning glory horn on it in the past, I will either put another one on or just use a small nickel trumpet horn. I still can't believe it is mine, you really have to see it to really appreciate it, stunning is an understatement. ;D Regards Marcel

Hi, I have added another pic, I noticed that the one above had a gold reflection, this was taken before I cleaned the cabinet. Type of horn! yes, an 11 panel mahogany wood grained horn would be nice. I was thinking a mahogany cygnet, but I am not ready to take a drill to it just yet I have been told that these are rarer than the Idelia. All I need now is the Idelia a Flower Triumph and a gold plated Triumph ;D Regards Marcel
